Instructions on how to get the electronic card
With the help of the Korttitieto.fi website, you can now always keep your Occupational Safety Card easily accessible without a physical card. The mobile card is a digital version of the traditional physical card that conveniently travels with you on your phone. Read the instructions below on how to access your digital Occupational Safety Card!
How do I activate my mobile card?
You can activate the mobile version of your Occupational Safety Card through the Korttitieto service provided by the Centre Occupational Safety (TTK). The digital card works in a web browser without the need for a separate app and is quick to set up. The card’s details and validity period can be checked and verified directly from the digital card, making it easier for both employees and employers.
1. Go to the digital card website
Open the address in your browser mobiili.korttitieto.fi.
2. Request a new password
If you are logging in to the service for the first time, click the link at the bottom of the page “Order a new password here”.
3. Enter your registered email address
Use the email address that was saved in the register during the course.
4. You will receive a password in your email
Check your mailbox and follow the instructions in the message to log in to the service.
5. Log in to the service and view your card
The digital card displays the same information as the physical card: name, industry, occupational safety card number, card validity period.
If your email is not registered, contact kortti@ttk.fi and request registration.
Digital card: usage and renewal
Can I get the digital card immediately after the course?
The mobile card is available as soon as participant has completed the training. The card may not be available immediately after the course, but it will be available no later than 24 hours after the training ends.
How can I check if my Occupational Safety Card is valid?

The Occupational Safety Card is valid for 5 years.

You can check the card’s expiration date in your digital card and register for a new course in time.

Printed Occupational Safety Cards have been discontinued
Physical Occupational Safety Cards are now only available at your own expense

Printed cards remain valid until their expiration date, but new printed cards are no longer automatically delivered upon completion of the training.

However, the Centre for Occupational Safety provides the option to order a printed card at your own expense through the Korttitieto service.”

In the future, card details can be checked through the electronic Occupational Safety Card search at https://www.ttkorttihaku.fi/. Cardholders, employers, or contractors can use strong authentication to retrieve valid card details.

The search is conducted using the person’s name and date of birth.
How can I order a physical card at my own expense?
A physical occupational safety card is completely voluntary – an electronic card is sufficient and officially approved. However, if you want to order a physical card, you can do so at your own expense for an additional fee of €20 from the Card Information website.
How to order the physical card:
1. Log in at https://mobiili.korttitieto.fi.
2. Click “Näytä” to view your electronic card.
3. Click the link “Fyysinen kortti kadonnut? Tilaa kortti tästä”.
4. Follow the instructions to complete your payment and order.

No email address?
Unfortunately, logging into the digital card service is not possible without an email address.
Occupational Safety Card Search – how does it work?
Logging into the service requires strong authentication. Search results are displayed based on a search using the person’s name and date of birth. The register provides the following details: Occupational Safety Card number, expiration date, course industry and location where the card was issued.
Everyone registered in the system has the right to object to the processing and availability of their data. If you do not want your information to be publicly visible in the register, you can submit a request to kortti@ttk.fi. The request must include your name, date of birth, and email address, along with a clear statement requesting the restriction of data publication. The restriction will remain in effect for the validity period of the respective Occupational Safety Card.
