What is the Occupational Safety Card refresher course?
The refresher course is suitable for you if your current Occupational Safety Card is still valid on the day of training. Our official refresher training, approved by the Työturvallisuuskeskus (TTK), is delivered as a flexible blended learning format combining mobile learning and online training.
After successfully completing the course, you will receive an official Occupational Safety Card issued by the Finnish Centre for Occupational Safety, valid for 5 years. The qualification obtained from the refresher course is exactly the same as from the longer basic course.
You can only participate in the refresher training if your Occupational Safety Card is still valid at the time of the course!
How do I know if my Occupational Safety Card is still valid?
The Occupational Safety Card is valid for 5 years from the date of completion. You can easily check its validity in several ways.
You can verify the validity:

on your physical Occupational Safety Card

on your mobile card via the Korttitieto service

via the Työturvallisuuskorttihaku.fi service
In the Työturvallisuuskorttihaku service, you can search for a valid card using your name and date of birth. The search results show, among other details, the card’s validity period and card number.If your card has expired, you must complete the 7-hour basic Occupational Safety Card course again.
Lost your card?
A physical card is no longer necessarily required. You can use the official mobile card or easily check your details through an online service.

Make sure your Occupational Safety Card is still valid
The refresher course is intended for individuals who already have a valid Occupational Safety Card®. If your card has expired, you must complete the 7-hour basic course.

Choose a suitable training date
Register easily online and select a webinar time that fits your schedule.

Start self-study in the Trainify app
Half of the refresher course is completed independently in the mobile app. You will study for 2 hours at your own pace.

Attend a 2-hour online training session
Itseopiskelun jälkeen osallistut kouluttajan vetämään webinaariin, jossa käydään läpi työturvallisuuden tärkeimmät asiat yhdessä. Osallistuminen onnistuu helposti etänä omalta tietokoneelta tai mobiililaitteelta.

Complete the Occupational Safety Card test
At the end of the online training, you will take the official test, which lasts 30 minutes. After passing, you will receive a new Occupational Safety Card.

Download your mobile card
Your mobile card will be available shortly after completing the test. The new Työturvallisuuskeskus (TTK) Occupational Safety Card is valid for 5 years.
