Learning about work safety doesn’t have to be boring.

However, you can learn the fundamentals of occupational safety almost effortlessly with the Trainify learning app. Trainify offers a course curriculum created by an Occupational Safety Card instructor and approved by The Centre for Occupational Safety (TTK), divided into engaging lessons designed to support effective learning.

You can go through the lessons at your own pace and start occupational safety training immediately after payment.

What is an Occupational Safety Card?

The purpose of the Occupational Safety Card is to make workplaces safe for everyone

Why do we need the card?

In 2025, approximately 107,000 occupational accidents occurred, of which 87,000 were workplace accidents and 20,000 were commuting accidents. The Occupational Safety Card® is designed to prevent accidents and increase safety in the workplace. The card certifies that the employee has basic knowledge of the hazards of the work environment, risk assessment and occupational safety principles.

Occupational safety training

The training prepares employees to identify hazardous situations and prevent accidents in shared workplaces. The Occupational Safety Card is valid for five years, after which it must be renewed. The Occupational Safety Card is particularly beneficial for various professional groups, and completing the training may be recommended or even mandatory for certain job roles.

The occupational safety card is managed by The Centre for Occupational Safety, which also maintains a register of individuals who have completed the card. The Occupational Safety Card® is valid for five years.

How do I get the Occupational Safety Card?

You can get the Occupational Safety Card by successfully completing the occupational safety training. Half of the training lessons can be done through self-study in our mobile app. The rest of the lessons can be completed in-person or online.

The occupational safety training includes a test at the end, consisting of 27 true/false statements, and it is passed if you answer at least 23 questions correctly. The test can be retaken up to two times.
